How to COMPLETELY Restore/Wipe Clean a Dell Inspiron Mini 10 with Windows XP

After much searching, I FINALLY came across how to restore my computer. It's a tricky one, because it's a Dell Netbook, which doesn't have a CD-ROM so you can't use restore disks.

So, here's how it goes. Super easy.

1. Reboot or turn on your computer.

2. Press and hold Ctrl. Keep holding it. The Dell logo screen will appear and freeze after the progress line finishes.

3. Once the blue line across the top of the screen with Dell.com comes up, CONTINUE to hold Ctrl, then press F11.

4. The system will immediately go into Symantec recovery. Just follow what it says and you're good to go.

Make sure before you wipe your computer to download any files you might need onto a flash drive or external hard drive. Once your computer is completely restored, it takes it back to the day you got your computer. Any files, programs, etc you added will be gone FOREVER. Just sayin;. :)
