Orlando Area- Free Improv Classes at the Library. Starts Tonight!



If you've been wanting to take an Improv class, but haven't had the funds, check out this class at the Orlando Public Library.

Starting tonight, there will be an improv class from Power 2 Improv starting at 6pm. Here are the details from the site:

Matt Gervia presents an Introduction to Improvisation.  This eight-week class will meet every Wednesday at 6 p.m.  You will learn the FUNdamentals of Improv.  Whether you are new to Improv or have some previous performance experience, this class is about having fun while learning some of the essential skills of Improv, including: learning the basics of agreement and continuance, getting over shyness and being "in the moment," always presenting and connecting to your partners.  


At the end of the eight-week class, students will participate in a live Improv show at the library where they will showcase and demonstrate skills learned such as quick thinking, pronunciation, ad-libbing, pantomime and exaggeration.  The show will be held on Saturday, July 30 at 4 p.m. at the Orlando Public Library To register call 407.835.7481.
