Pay $20 for a $50 voucher to Paul Mitchell: The School. Their services are much cheaper than a regular salon because the services are done by students (supervised, of course), so your $50  goes quite a ways.

I've gotten my hair done at beauty-type schools many a time and have always had good experiences.
