Chienna's Corner: Foods to Avoid Giving Your Dog

A lot of people know that chocolate and onions are bad for your dog; but did you know that grapes and raisins are just as (if not more) toxic?

Check out this page from the ASPCA Poison Control site on things to avoid giving your dog.

Here's a brief listing of things NOT to feed your dog:

  • Milk
  • Chocolate, Coffee, and Caffeine
  • Salt
  • Onion, Garlic, and Chives
  • Alcohol
  • Avocado (who knew??!!)
  • Grapes and Raisins
  • Macadamia Nuts
  • Yeast Dough
