Cream of Chicken Pasta

Here's another edition of my Kamikaze Dinner series. A lot of the time (OK, MOST of the time) I don't really plan my meals. Today was no different than usual. I wanted something quick and easy, and here's what I came up with.

Cream of Chicken Pasta

I used to do a much simpler version of this when I was younger (literally just noodles and a can of cream of chicken soup). I jazzed it up a bit to make something a little better for you and a bit more yummified.

Here's what I did-

I threw some Egg Noodles and Frozen Peas in a pot of boiling water (feel free to use whatever pasta/veggies you want).

Once they were done, I strained them, and in the same pan I put a Can of Cream of Chicken Soup (you could always use another cream soup-cream of mushroom for example), and then half a can of White Wine (to help thin the soup down-you could use milk, water or broth here).

I warmed that up, threw in some spices (my go to spices are garlic powder, rosemary, italian seasoning and freshly ground pepper), and dumped in the pasta and peas. Voila! Dinner in about 10 minutes.

You can substitue tons here, or add some meat (chicken, sausage, whatever) if you wanna bulk this up. But it's pretty darned tasty, and was made with stuff I just had in my pantry (yay for cheap!).

I toasted some bread to go along with. I heart bread.

Yum!
